WHO WE ARE
The Gladys Asare foundation (GAF) was established by Ms. Gladys Asare about 25years ago. She started from her own house and later extended it to the community. She reside in Abekah Lapaz-Accra to be precise. She gathered the children in her own house and taught them the word of God. She gave them food, drinks, uniforms; bath them at times and a lot more to make them happy. Due to this, the number kept on increasing day after day. She realized later that, the church she attended did not have a children’s department, so she took this opportunity to establish that ministry in her church.Some of the kids willingly attended church with her whilst others were also encouraged to go to church with their parents. WE CATER FOR GROUPS SUCH AS:
Orphans
The Foundation caters for orphans from the ages of 0 -18 yrs.(sometimes we go beyond that age bracket to take care of some wards in critical situations that we encounter.
Aged
The essence of the aged agenda we embark on, is to encourage the aged with love, care and financial support.The foundation is based on sharing love for all that is why we let actions speak best for us.
Physically Challenged
We believe in equality so therefore we plan to build a project centre for the physically challenged to have educational programs.
The abused
We stand against all forms of abuse towards our beneficiaries. With advocacy , education and public lectures, we believe we can influence the society to become active advocates against all forms of abuse.
Is to be the best and a globally recognized foundation with integrity as our strength.
To locate, fish out the less privileged in our societies,to assist them to build on their capabilities and also to restore their hope.

PAST PROJECT / CURRENT PROJECT / UPCOMING EVENTS
Education they say is a key to success. Currently, most of the kids we cater for are receiving some form of education and we give much attention to their education. We encourage inclusive education for our Physically Challenged who are of school going age or uneducated. GAF assists other groups with educational funds to help support kids under them, we do this with the motive of shaping them positively and creating a brighter future for them.
We have successfully made donations to all our target groups in the past few years. Most donations are done in the Greater Accra and Eastern Region.Throughout the year,we host several events, in order to bring our benefactors and beneficiaries together as one family.
